    Description

    I purchased this Buttocks Basket with Dark Brown Leather at an estate and it was sold as a Fishing Creel but I think it could be a large Purse. It is woven of a wicker material and has heavy leather trim with the flap and closure. The leather is somewhat stiff but I think will condition as it is not broken and moves easily. The center leather looks like a saddle. The metal hardware has some patina and loss to surface. The woven part is intact. This is large and would make a great display.
